The $12,500 Across the Country donation to The Neighbors’ Place on behalf of Cloverbelt Credit Union will expand the diaper bank program for the Wausau community.
The mission of Neighbors' Place has always been to address the needs of the community without judgment, and with open hearts, providing a sense of fulfillment, appreciation, visibility, and dignity to neighbors who are struggling.
Cloverbelt Credit Union and The Neighbors' Place have a shared philosophy of "people helping people." In addition to the diaper bank, other offerings include a food pantry, community gardens, a bicycle refurbishing, and open learning center.
"The Neighbors’ Place recently found a diaper vendor that allows us to purchase pallets of diapers at a reduced cost, allowing us to increase the impact and provide this important resource to more children."
